Pull Your Curtains!

Our new CCTV system and alarms have been a massive success and well worth the outlay. We have been able to read and record car registration numbers where we have been uncertain of intent and are able to quickly identify vessels night and day where there is suspicion. The perimeter alarms are invaluable and with additional sensors and cameras placed this summer we are now able to detect movement anywhere around the marina perimeter and respond if necessary, the monitor on the main gate is extremely beneficial alerting us to any nocturnal visitors - usualy courting couples, So be careful & keep those curtains closed tightly !!

Management re structure.

Peter Larkin, the former M.D of Allington Marina Ltd has now semi retired taking the role of group chairman, promoting Adrian Larkin from Director to new role of Managing Director.

Adrian is taking the helm of this already successful company and he looks forward to taking the company a stage further in development and upholding the status of 'Kents premier marina' of which he and his team are very proud.

We are pleased to open the doors again for the New year and another busy sales season that lies ahead, We would also like to welcome a new team member 'on board'

Gary Isaacs starts with us in the new year and will be taking care of all site maintenance, Gary is well known on the river and is a boater himself, He will be maintaining the marina to highest standards and further maintaining our status as Kents premier freshwater marina.

Red Diesel Latest

It looks like 'Tizer' is here to stay, but shame about the price, from November 2008, Red diesel for boaters will be sold at the increased duty rate taking the pump price well over a pound a litre. for more details click here.

Club exclusive to berth holders.

After many succesful social events in years gone by, the berth holders of Allington Marina have formed thier own Motor cruiser club. We are delighted to see such enthusiasm in our boaters and wish them every success and look forward to the exciting new events that Allington Motor Cruiser Club has to offer in the new coming season.
